Hi-Home is made from siliceous sinter, a hot spring mineral deposit (yunohana in Japanese) that forms over a long period of time. Siliceous sinter contains a high proportion of soluble components, which, when mixed with soap, mostly turn into sodium silicate, a compound with cleaning properties. Additionally, its fine and soft particles make Hi-Home gentle on surfaces, effectively removing dirt without causing scratches while remaining safe and mild on the hands.
